Royal British Legion Charity Fundraiser

£20,873, raised by MCI to support the Poppy Appeal

Craig Murphy, Regional Managing Director, recently visited the Royal British Legion to present them with a cheque for £20,873, raised by MCI to support the Poppy Appeal.

MCI held their annual Charity Awards evening on Friday 27th October supporting the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. The event was a huge success with over 200 attendees including members of the MCI team, some of MCI’s subcontractors and guests from the Royal British Legion.

The evening celebrated everyone’s hard work and recognised subcontractors of the year and Site Managers of the year. The evening was a great success and raised around £19k for this fantastic charity.

A huge thank you goes out to all of the staff and contractors who helped to raise this fantastic amount of money, almost doubling the total amount raised by the Ashton in Makerfield and District Branch of the Royal British Legion.
