Annual MCI Charity Events raises over £15,000

The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal with over 180 guests in attendance and Macmillan Coffee Morning event

The MCI team held their Annual Charity and Awards event in Autumn, supporting the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. The event was a great success with over 180 attendees, including MCI staff, MCI subcontractors and guests from the Royal British Legion. A fantastic evening was had by all, and so far, over £15,000 has been raised for a very worthy cause.

A number of awards were also presented on the night with the highlights being:

• Assistant Site Manager of the year – Mark Dean
• Site Manager of the year (tied) – Dan Cook and Jon Baldwin
• Supreme sub-contractor of the year - George Brown Plumbing and Heating

A huge well done to all those who were recognised on the evening for their hard work and dedication.

Macmillan Coffee Morning Goes European

And the fundraising and giving spirit didn't end there, as the MCI team held a Macmillan Coffee Morning in the office and managed to raise £120 for this fantastic and incredibly important charity. The team gave the morning a theme of countries that have hosted the Euro’s.  Each department were given a country and they baked cakes or sourced goodies from that country.
